Spooky Halloween Popcorn is perfect for your Halloween parties and for your little ghosts, goblins and witches! The perfect snack for your trick or treaters!This popcorn should feed at least 5 trick or treaters, but could be more or less depending on serving size.
1/3cuppopcorn kernels*or 1 bag popped microwave popcorn
1 1/2tbspbutter
1/3cupcorn syrup
1cupmilk chocolate chips*white chocolate is fine too
Assorted Halloween Sprinkles and Halloween M&Ms*not included in nutritional calculations
Instructions
Pop your popcorn in your air popper, or pop your bag of microwave popcorn.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread your popped popcorn out on the baking sheet.This is totally optional. You can toss it all in a bowl.
In a small saucepan, add your butter, corn syrup, and milk chocolate chips. Melt it over medium heat, whisking it constantly until it is smooth and melted fully.
Drizzle the milk chocolate over your popped popcorn. Add your sprinkles and M&Ms.

You do not have to use an air popper. Microwave popcorn works great, especially if you prefer your popcorn with butter and salt. 1 bag of popped microwave popcorn is all that is needed for this recipe.I line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and spread my popcorn out on it. This makes it easier to drizzle the chocolate and add the sprinkles so the popcorn is more evenly mixed. This is optional. You can mix it all up in a bowl.The chocolate drizzle is a bit softer because of the butter and corn syrup added to it. You can just melt milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips without the butter and corn syrup and it will be a harder chocolate drizzle. I like a softer chocolate drizzle on popcorn, but that is just a personal preference
