Instructions
For Smooth Bean Dip: If you are wanting your bean dip to be smooth and creamy, then you will need to add your canned refried beans to a food processor or blender along with your tomato sauce and water. Blend until the refried beans are smooth. Then add your blended refried beans to a large pot to heat. Add your shredded cheddar cheese and taco seasoning and mix well. Heat on medium heat until the dip is warm and cheese is melted. For Chunky Bean Dip: No need to blend the beans! Just add all of your ingredients to a large pot and warm the dip on medium heat until the cheese is melted and dip is warmed through. For a Beefy Bean Dip: Add 1 lb. browned and drained ground beef to your dip! ***To heat this dip in your slow cooker, heat it on low for 3-4 hours or high 2-3 hours or until it is heated through and the cheese is melted!
Notes
You do not have to add the cooked ground beef to this dip! It is amazing without it! If you add the ground beef and are blending your beans for a smooth dip, don't add the cooked ground beef until you are heating the dip! Do not add it before blending the beans!
