Easy Homemade Ranch Dressing
This creamy ranch dressing has the perfect balance of flavor with garlic, dill and chives.
This recipe makes about 1 1/2 cups
(1/4 cup) servings
NOT miracle whip or Light Mayo
dried dill weed
fresh lemon juice
or more to taste
Mix all of the ingredients toghether and stir until all seasonings are mixed well.
Refrigerate for up to a week in an airtight container.
Make sure you use mayonnaise. Not Miracle Whip. I would not recommend using a light mayo. The dressing needs the full fat to achieve the right consistency and flavor.
I used 2% milk, and any milk can be used, just note that the thickness may vary depending on milk used.
Dried dill has a strong flavor. Adjust according to taste, or leave it out completely if desired.
Lemon juice is needed to add a touch of acidity. You can adjust this to your needs as well.
