5tbspwater *just fill up the tomato paste can half way
1 1/2tbsp.Worcestershire Sauce
1tbsp.cider vinegar
1 tbsp.brown sugar
2tsp.paprika
1tspkosher salt*more to taste
1tspgarlic, minced (optional)
1/2tspground mustard*dried ground spice, not bottled yellow mustard
pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
pepper to taste

Instructions
In a large skillet, on medium heat, brown your ground beef with the chopped onion. Drain and rinse (optional on the rinsing), then place ground beef back in skillet.
On medium-low heat, add in the tomato paste, water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar. Mix well.
Add your seasonings and mix well.
Serve in buns, and enjoy!
The Sloppy Joe filling will stay great in the fridge up to 4 days and can be reheated in the microwave or stovetop!

Recipe adapted from the Cookie Rookie .You do not have to drain or rinse your ground beef. I do both (I am weird and always rinse mine), but I would definitely at least drain it so you don't have the extra moisture/fat of the ground beef in your sloppy joes!If you want your sloppy joes really thick you can add less water than the 5 tbsp. the recipe calls for. Likewise you can add more water if you want them a thinner consistency.
