This Easy Taco Meat has the perfect blend of seasonings to make this taco meat so much better than any flavor you get from a packet. This recipe will vary on servings depending on what you make with the taco meat. Servings for this recipe are calculated at about 4 oz. per person.
1tbspall-purpose flour*see notes as to why you add this
2tspbeef bouillon *Better Than Bouillon is amazing
1 1/2tspchili powder
1 1/2tsppaprika
1tspcumin
1 tsponion powder
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tspwhite sugar
1/2tspsalt
Instructions
Brown your ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. I like to break up the ground beef into small uniform pieces. A potato masher works great to do this.
OPTIONAL:Drain/rinse your meat. Add the ground beef back into the same pan.
Add the water, tomato paste, all purpose flour and seasonings. Mix them into the ground beef. Adjust the seasonings to your liking.Lower the temperature to med-low and let the meat heat so the flavor can simmer and develop. If there is excess sauce let the meat heat until it has cooked down a bit.
This Easy Taco Meat makes tasty tacos, burritos, enchiladas, taquitos, quesadillas and so much more!
Notes
All purpose flour is added to the ground beef to thicken the sauce/seasonings and help bind the flavor to the ground beef. You do not have to add this. Try it at least once and you will realize it doesn’t affect the taste but makes the taco meat thicker for the flavor to stick to the meat.
