I think cream cheese frosting belongs on almost every baked treat, maybe with a few exceptions!

There is just something about the smooth, sweet creamy goodness of a cream cheese frosting that is far better than a regular frosting. Add in some pumpkin spice and it takes it to a whole new level!

This frosting has everything you expect in a regular cream cheese frosting but the pumpkin makes it perfect for all of your fall treats!

The Pumpkin Flavor in Pumkpin Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting is simple. You will make my Easy Cream Cheese Frosting recipe but with pumpkin.

For the added pumpkin flavor I use a little bit of canned pumpkin and some Pumpkin Pie Spice. The combo is exactly what this frosting needs. The pumpkin adds some color, but not much of flavor. The pumpkin pie spice adds the yummy taste that screams fall!

This turned out amazing! I only used approximately 1.5 – 2 C of powdered sugar because that’s all I had on hand. But even with that change, it was sooo good and not too sweet. My family loved it!
