Easy Blender Salsa is fast and easy and so dang delicious! It is smooth and has the perfect touch of heat which makes it kid approved!
This Easy Blender Salsa is super easy to make and you can throw it together in minutes! I always have the ingredients on hand (the chips are another story!). I make this salsa for my boys and their friends and it is devoured every single time! It is always a hit with kids or adults!
Ingredients for Cooper’s Easy Blender Salsa
There is nothing too fancy about this salsa. It is some canned tomatoes (one can of diced tomatoes, one of diced tomatoes with mild green chilis), chopped yellow onion, jalapenos from a jar, sugar, cumin, garlic salt and some sugar! Easy peasy! Even though there are not typical fresh salsa ingredients in this recipe it is still do dang delicious!
You can adjust the seasonings as well to your liking.
Tomatoes and Jalapeños
If you can’t find the Del Monte Tomatoes with green chilis in a 14.5 oz. can (see below) you can use Rotel in a 10. oz can. You will not be able to tell a difference! If you use Rotel you can also pick you ”heat”. Rotel has more options from Original, Mild to Hot.
The Jalapeño peppers are usually by the canned/jarred olives. I can always find them. Any brand will work and once again, you can choose your ”heat”. You can also add more to the recipe than it states if you want it a more hot as well!
Blender or Food Processor
Just throw all of the ingredients into your blender or food processor and blend until smooth. I think the fact that this salsa is so smooth and nothing chunky is why kids love it (and the flavor)!
You can blend it completely smooth, leave it a bit chunky or somewhere in between, its up to you!
This salsa will keep in your fridge for 4-5 days, but I bet it won’t last that long!
Easy Blender Salsa is so yummy – it will become a favorite family snack!
