The Best Bean Dip is…the BEST! It is smooth and creamy, has a perfect blend of flavor and is delicious for a game day dip, potluck or any occasion.
Every game day, party, potluck or any get together needs some good dips! This Easy Bean Dip is the one you need! It is easy to make and is a crowd pleaser!
You can add ground beef (which is how I love it), but it is not necessary! The Bean Dip is great on it’s own, and is also great rolled up in tortillas!
Making Easy Bean Dip
For this dip you will need refried beans. I have tried many brands and ALWAYS come back to Rosarita, Refried Beans, Traditional flavor. (I am not getting paid to say that).
You will also need: tomato sauce, taco seasoning, water, and shredded cheddar cheese. OPTIONAL: cooked ground beef to make it a Beefy Bean Dip!
This Bean Dip could not be easier to make! I blend my refried beans because I love them smooth and creamy! You don’t have to do this, but trust me, smooth and creamy makes the best dip!
For Smooth Bean Dip: If you are wanting your bean dip to be smooth and creamy, then you will need to add your canned refried beans to a food processor or blender. Also add your tomato sauce and water. Blend until the refried beans are smooth. Then add your blended refried beans to a large pot to heat. Add your shredded cheddar cheese and taco seasoning and mix well. Heat on medium heat until the dip is warm and cheese is melted.
For Chunky Bean Dip: No need to blend the beans! Just add all of your ingredients to a large pot and warm the dip on medium heat until the cheese is melted and dip is warmed through.
For a Beefy Bean Dip: Add browned and drained ground beef to your dip! (see the delicious photo above)
ALTERNATE HEATING IN SLOW COOKER: You can also heat this bean dip in your slow cooker! It will heat in about 3-4 on low and 2-3 hours on high. It just needs to heat until its warmed through and the cheese is melted.
Eat and Enjoy your Bean Dip

No explanation needed on how to enjoy this delicious Bean Dip! Obviously it is best with tortilla chips. I love to add some green onions to my serving, but nothing says you have to! It is fabulous on loaded nachos, rolled in a warm tortilla for a yummy burrito, or as a side! No matter how you it, it will be a favorite!

These products above are amazing! The food processor is the exact one I have and I LOVE IT! It has blades that chop, puree, and blend and a disc that will slice and shred! (No more grating cheese!) The can opener is the best thing ever! It cuts under the lid of the can so there are no sharp edges! I have 2 in my kitchen drawers in case one breaks! The slow cooker, is simple but the does the job and I LOVE the locking lid. And who doesn’t need a good stock pot!
